A full day in Becej and Radicevic

All started with a breakfast called Burger Time in a coffee in Becej. We made the plans for the day and decided who was going to pick which topic. Afterwards we went to the ”Zdravko Gložanski” school to capture some daily school life and a small interview with the principal of the school. Just after we finished we went by YUGO to Radicevic, to tape Interviews with the children, who dance in the folklore group. And that’s where we met the fabulous Igor again. He arrived with his Quad, which is a powerful vehicle, which really impressed us. After that my personal highlight of the day was, when Igor took each of us for a short ride around Radicevic. Man that motor is really powerful. After the ride I had tears in my eyes, of cause I was really enjoying but also the cold air and the acceleration made me having a horizontal trace of a teardrop on my cheek. We already spent a lot of time recording and it was just the right moment to take some food. So we really enjoyed the lunch at Suzana’s house. Typically Serbian the whole menu started with a glass of Rakija and also order valtrex online ended with that. What a perfect frame for amazingly tasty soup and roasted meat and a perfect cake in the end. Also we all were full, there was no time to digest. Because our next appointment was just in time. The children from the Radicevic “Zdravko Gložanski” school were just waiting for us in the public library to start with the painting of the bookmarks. I made a short interview with them in Serbian, which was not that easy, but even harder with a full stomach. And after we regarded the interesting pictures of the children and took some portraits of the little Picassos, we had to go again. The next group of little artists was waiting for us in the school to express their opinion about environmental issues and children’s rights in shape of a painting. We took pictures, videos and interviewed the children. That’s mainly it. Now editing is the keyword and I wonder if we can make it to a “kafana” tonight. I would welcome that. Because working with the children is really nice, but as a day like this shows it is also really exhausting.
