AD Summit Belgrade 2026

In September 2026, Belgrade will host a gathering that marks more than a conference — it marks a beginning. The All Digital Summit 2026 arrives at a moment when Europe is redefining what digital progress means: not only competitiveness but also human dignity, social cohesion, and the future of learning.

Arrival & Programme Structure

Participants arrive in Belgrade on 21 September. The Summit takes place on 22–23 September at the Ložionica complex, bringing together European institutions, regional leaders, innovators, educators, youth organisations and civil society. On 24 September, the Media Education Centre will host the After Summit – FUTURE, a strategic event designed to position Serbia and the Western Balkans within a stronger and faster synchronisation framework with the EU Digital Strategy and legislation.

MEC as Co‑Host: A New Vision for the Region

As co‑host, the Media Education Centre is shaping the Summit as a turning point: a place where technology, education and peacebuilding meet to create a new vision for our shared digital future. For MEC, the Summit marks the launch of a new wave of digital literacy and human‑centred innovation across Serbia and the Western Balkans. AI, VR and AR become practical tools for education, creativity and community wellbeing. Digital inclusion becomes a right, not a privilege.

The FUTURE Movement

The FUTURE Movement provides the narrative backbone of this vision. Built on five pillars — Unity, Technology, Understanding, Reconciliation and Equity — it connects digital transformation with the more profound human needs of our societies. These pillars guide the selection of panels, speakers and themes, ensuring that the Summit is not only technically relevant but socially meaningful.

Themes and Impact

Through this lens, the Summit will explore the following:

  • ethical and human‑centred AI in education and public services
  • digital wellbeing and mental health
  • media literacy and rebuilding trust
  • VR/AR for peace education and creativity
  • digital skills for all citizens
  • regional cooperation across the Western Balkans
  • alignment with the EU Digital Decade and AI Act

The programme highlights innovators, educators, youth leaders, cultural institutions and regional partners who are already shaping the digital future of the Balkans.

EUNEED – European Digital Strategy & National Readiness

It would be an honour to welcome distinguished European leaders as keynote speakers for EUNEED, the session dedicated to the European Digital Strategy, governance models and long‑term readiness. This session is essential for Serbia, the Western Balkans and Southeast Europe as we strengthen cooperation with EU institutions and accelerate alignment with the Digital Decade.

After Summit – FUTURE (24 September)

The Day After Summit event, Digital FUTURE Together, will serve as a strategic bridge — guiding Serbia and the European Commission from discussion to direction, from inspiration to alignment, and from ideas to structured cooperation.

Its focus includes:

  • structured dialogue on Digital Decade targets and national readiness
  • alignment on safe and responsible AI development
  • cross‑border cooperation and regulatory implementation
  • strengthening Serbia’s digital ecosystem within the European digital space
  • a human‑centred vision placing citizens, educators, innovators and institutions at the core of transformation

This area is where Serbia demonstrates readiness, responsibility and ambition — and where the European Commission sees a committed partner in building a digital society that is inclusive, safe and aligned with European values.

Invitation to Our Network

We invite schools, universities, libraries, cultural centres, NGOs, public institutions and technology partners to join us in Belgrade — not as observers, but as contributors. The Summit is an opportunity to showcase your work, share insights and become part of a European and global conversation on digital inclusion, ethical technology and human‑centred development.

A Long‑Term Commitment

For MEC, this event is only the beginning. The Summit will spark new collaborations, educational models, digital tools and regional initiatives. Together, we can ensure that digital transformation becomes a force for peace, learning, creativity and opportunity for all.
