International Patriotic Pact & Nation’s Rights to Development
Shaping a New International Order
United Nations Office at Geneva | April 1, 2026

The International Patriotic Pact Organization (IPPO) will convene its 2026 Forum at the United Nations Office at Geneva, bringing together global partners to advance a new paradigm for peace, sovereignty, and development rights.

More than 160 initiators formally adopted the International Patriotic Pact in Geneva on October 1, 2025. Emerging from a century marked by geopolitical turbulence, economic fragmentation, and widening global inequalities, the Pact redefines patriotism as a constructive force: “loving one’s own country without harming the interests of other nations.” It affirms that the nation’s right to development is the foundation of human rights protection and that sovereignty and development must be upheld in parallel.

The 2026 IPPO Forum will deepen global understanding of this new framework and strengthen cooperation among NGOs, scholars, diplomatic missions, and civil society actors committed to a fairer international order.
