For 25 years, the Media Education Centre has championed the idea that peace isn’t just a policy—it’s a practice. But today, we face a disconnect. As our world becomes more digital, the gap between global policy and local reality is widening.
We are building a bridge to close that gap.
We are launching a multi-year journey designed to connect global policy, digital inclusion, and youth action. This isn’t just a series of conferences; it is a coherent lifeline connecting Geneva to Lebanon.
The Journey
- The Spark (April 2026, Geneva): We begin at the United Nations, modernising the “right to development” for a new digital age.
- The Pillar (May 2026, Morocco): The conversation moves to the Spring Academy. Here, we don’t just talk; we train. We are inviting Rotarians and Rotaractors to spearhead the advancement of digital well-being and ethical AI.
- The Framework (July 2026, Belgrade): We gather to sign the Belgrade Declaration, translating our shared dialogue into a strategic promise for the future.
- The Destination (May 2027, Lebanon): All roads lead to the Positive Peace Pioneers Symposium (PPPS). The insights gathered along this bridge will empower the New Generation of Arab-speaking leaders.
