Media Education Centre’s EduGami: Revolutionizing Learning with GenAI, Animation, and Gamification
With the support of kids from Slovakia, we will unlock a new era of education with “EduGami,” an innovative project co-developed with the esteemed BIBIANA, the world’s largest Biennale of Animation and Illustration for children. From October 6th to 12th, during the Festival, we will embark on a groundbreaking journey to create an animated triptych—three captivating one-minute films—that showcase the transformative potential of GenAI-driven education.
Biennial of Animation Bratislava (BAB) 2024 celebrates the 40th anniversary of its international animation screenings and marks 33 years since its current status with Prix Klingsor given as a lifetime achievement award. The festival will be held October 7-11, 2024 in Bratislava, Slovakia. October 10 will mark the first-ever High-Level Forum on Artificial Intelligence convening young talent, principals, and professionals from different countries.
Talented creatives from 91 countries submitted 1,764 films into a competition bearing witness to the power and magic of high-quality animation for kids. These productions shall compete for the Viktor Kubal Award (main award since 2003), the UNICEF Award (since 2001), the Visegrad Prize (since 2003), the ECFA European Children’s Film Association Award (since 2018), and the Children’s Audience Award (since 1993).
The International House of Art for Children organizes the Biennale primarily for children and because of them. A positive impact on the next generation is the fundamental focus of our work. Other key focus points of the Biennale are legacy and the sharing of accomplished leaders’ expertise as well as the cross-cutting impact of artificial intelligence.
