Let\u2019s work towards a better future for those affected by forced displacement. #ECOSOC #RefugeeProtection<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Special Meeting of the Economic and Social Council on Artificial Intelligence (AI) will take place on Tuesday, 6 May 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the ECOSOC Chamber at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. \u202f\u00a0 Key functions of ECOSOC include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n ECOSOC holds its annual session in July in New York and comprises several functional commissions addressing specific areas such as social development, population and development, and sustainable development. The meeting will bring together Member States, UN system experts, private sector leaders, innovators, and civil society stakeholders to follow up on the outcomes of the Summit of the Future, including the Global Digital Compact.
